The folk that put up their links , thanks a million it makes the whole process that much easier, and to some, remember to open your blog for the day if its usually closed, its frustrating to find it closed, if you have no intention of opening it to the public, then please say so in the comment you leave on my page, Im not aware of these issues because youre all on my friends list...these are issues others are having.
Any other suggestions are more than welcome. Do any of you think PP takes up too much of your week? Should I be posting the theme on Thursday eve, and then leave it up until Sunday..perhaps? Just a thought...
Once again, I've laughed and cried, been amazed and smiled poignantly at the pictures posted. Its a good things we have here. Thank you all!
Multiply have also started giving notice of down time in advance at the top of the My Multiply page which is a nice change from Yahoo. I think your timing is just right for PP as it is.
ReplyDeleteyes there are an amazing group of people here! a lot of heart, humor and sensitivity!
ReplyDeleteI love PPF and I'm honored to be a part of it. The pictures, people, and stories are just awesome. It definitely does not take up too much of my week, it's something I look forward to.
ReplyDeleteIf it took too much time I wouldn't have time to do it...lol..such a great medium we have found to share lives....and pictures
ReplyDeleteAmazing heavenly photo!!! I wish I was there especially since it's snowing here!!! Ice storm on its way.
ReplyDeleteI have my ONE photo posted....pardon me while I try to get it straight and not sideways! LOL

ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeleteTruly scrumptious sunset!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE PP just the way it is.....
Ma used to say, "If it aint broke, don't fix it".
Good words to live by huh?
Lot's of folks figure it to be a Friday-ish PP, so I get to start looking at folks beautiful photographs on Wednesday after work and have awhile to ponder it, or if I'm suddenly struck with THEE right photo I can post it. Work gets in the way so, please consider your considerations well. If you need or desire any help I am more than willing to do my share, I simply dig this. Thanks - I'll put my soapbox away now..... tj
Ohhhhhhhhhh My Goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....that is sooooooooo beautiful!!!! Wish I was there right now....we are supposed to be getting 3 - 9 inches of snow starting this afternoon and into tomorrow....UGH!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention, an absoultely beautiful sunset you posted.
ReplyDelete..it was the most spectacular day, a gentle breeze and some drifting clouds, and as the sun dipped the scene became more and more breathtaking, almost surreal in its beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful image, it reminds me of my honeymoon!
ReplyDeleteDon't change a thing on PP! The timing is perfect... I just need to attract more visitors to mine!
Heather, the format is 'Perfect' as it is thank you. And thank you for being a great host.
ReplyDeleteOver the last five or six weeks (I can't believe that that is all it is) I have seen the most amazing pictures and learnt such a lot. I confess that many have sparked ideas, which as they say here, I will adopt best practice (i.e. steal) from. I rarely comment of the accompanying texts, I'm no wordsmith, so humble apologies to those who so clearly work very hard at them.
This week has probably produced more excellent work than any previous that I have seen. Many, many truly glorious pictures that I have been privileged to see. Thanks to all the contributors.
Since I discovered Picture Perfect, and jumped right in to participate, I've made new friends, seen some fabulous photography, and had a few good laughs (not at the photos...at what people had to say.) This is a great way to share; it's amazing how many ideas people have when you throw out a word or phrase.
ReplyDeleteSo, my vote is, don't change a thing!
(Can't wait until Wednesday... no pressure!!! LOL)
thats beautifull shot and nice post also . thanks .
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic, almost surreal!
ReplyDeleteOh wow that picture is absolutely stunning!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I LOVE sunrises and sunsets! We get em BOTH over water here, being surrounded by it! HUGS!!!
ReplyDeleteI think things are great how they are... I haven't been participating long (only a few months), but I look forward to Wednesday every week! Possibly the best suggestion out there is to put the link to each submission in the comment when notifying that you are posting-- that is soooo helpful! I can't tell you how happy I am to have stumbled on to this whole thing!
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING PHOTO! I do like the idea of having a few days to get a photo together, but whatever you think works best as you hear from the masses...
ReplyDeleteThat sunset is incredible! Puts me in mind of orange sherbert...mmmm....
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much for Picture Perfect ~ I think it's great just the way it is. You are such a blessing and I appreciate you! I have "met" so many amazing people from all over the planet; talented, expressive, caring, folks who have enriched my life.
I spend at least a whole day trying to get through everyone's photos and sadly I still miss some :-( But I do the best I can to make it to as many as possible. I'm thankful for all the comments folks leave for me and for the technical advice as I try to become better at this wonderful world of photography :-)
Thanks again!
Whoa! - awesome balance of not allowing the sun to over-ride the image ... Horahhhhh!
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture. I love this. And, whatever you decide about PP, I'll be happy with it. I love seeing all the photo's and reading the post. Thank you for all you do.
ReplyDeleteWOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW GOOOOO GOD!
ReplyDelete(thanks on my pic!)
You must just love it there. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you've had a very good idea to set this 'picture perfect' up! I like it very much and am surprised at how many different takes one can have on one theme. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo!!!! Breathtaking!!!!
ReplyDeletePicture Perfect is perfect as it is. I wish I had more time to get out to everyone's pictures.....but that is my schedule limitation, not the limitation of Picture Perfect. This is an amazing creation and you have truly wrought something beautiful!!!.
Have a jolly week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI like it like it is - I have posted one pic, but am impressed ... and waiting on a new topic ... woof!
ReplyDeleteyour picture is perfect! beautiful! I do think this pp is wonderful, really! We all meet and we all praise the person no matter what, and I as you cry, laugh and am so happy for you to carry on the way it is, as it gives us all time to comment as well as post :o) thankyou sooooo much , Grace
ReplyDeleteWhere'd the guestbook go? How can we post our Wednesday anticipatory messages without a guestbook??
ReplyDeleteHold on Mick..... patience, patience, patience,.... I just love your little guy though... Yes we are anticipating the next word. For sure.... HUUUURRRRYYYY> Hugs to you Heather.
ReplyDeleteWell, honestly - the reason why I'm here is because it's Wednesday 11:38pm down here... *chuckle*
ReplyDeleteI have just noticed the blog before and seen my link over there. I did wonder why some people got straight to my PP blog last week as I forgot (MY - I'm so sorry) to give my link when I told everybody that my take was posted. I will try my best not to do it again. I thank you for the honor, Heather. I don't even have a good enough camera...
I love your sunset picture - I can just dwell there and till everything is dark... thanks for sharing it.
I also like the PP format and for me it is a way to share picture and learn from it - a VERY FUN way. I think I'm addicted to it. LOL - I even have this strange feeling when one of the participants who have been sharing pictures for months is not joining the theme of the week. It's like something missing.
I haven't got any problem with visiting the pictures and my method is 'time base' - I will do the round as much as my time allowed me to do so. Therefore sometimes I visit the PP friends' takes first and another time is the other way around.
I'm also glad with the fact that it is easy to go around and leave my reply to the pictures. O and I'm one of the paranoid people when the closing down happened... LOL!!!!
I have one flaws though - I talk too much or in this case, type too long. My comments are usually very long ones - so if there is anybody who has problem with that - feel free to let me know.
I can't wait for the next theme.
Now I'm going to 'hush'... LOL
Again, thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity and being a great host.
Wednesday - Friday or Thursday to Sunday.... either way Im sure the contributions and excitement about it will continue. Its just FUN! Ive enjoyed everything Ive seen so far!
ReplyDeleteThe sunset image is beautiful!!!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I'm a newcomer to Picture Perfect but have enjoyed it a lot, so far. It is so interesting to see what everyone's ideas are for each theme. Awaiting the new theme for this week.
ReplyDeleteI agree, leave as is! Its great.
ReplyDeleteOk the theme is posted, Im keeping comments closed until Ive posted my blog up so that comments only get left in one place..just makes it easier for everyonel to find each other..
ReplyDeleteI will open the guestbook again on Sunday I think, so you can anticipate as much as possible..lol..deal Mick!?
yikes at the subj ... wow ... bustin my cranium ... call EMTs -- ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous.....
